Interested in getting to know the farmers in your community? Open Farm Day allows New Brunswickers to interact with participating farms, their food, and the people that keep our families fed.  On Sunday, September 20th, 2020 come take pride in our agricultural industry and see what New Brunswick food has to offer! Farmers feed communities, so why not involve the whole family and learn more about our food and our farms.

Save the date!

Are you interested in building the bridge between consumer and producer in the Atlantic Canada this year? Open Farm Day is returning September 20th to virtually celebrate 20 years of cultivating agricultural awareness, where you will be able to join us from the comfort of your home.

Traditionally, Open Farm Day is a day meant for farmers to open their doors to the public to share farming practices and food safety values, creating a producer-consumer dialogue.  This year, however, because of the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, farmers may instead choose to upload video clips  on YouTube OR may host a Facebook Live on their business page.

Furthermore, an information session will be schedule early August to allow participating farms to ask questions and to brainstorm ideas. The invitation will be sent in a couple of weeks.
