Farm Description: Corn Hill Nursery Ltd. is the largest production nursery east of Montreal with 85 acres in cultivation and several acres of container stock. We grow nearly 1000 varieties of hardy trees, shrubs, vines, fruits and perennials. Our store and cafe is surrounded by sumptuous mature gardens for wandering and education.
Activity: We encourage visitors. In addition to our retail store and the Cedar Café, we have extensive display gardens and over 80 acres of container and field production. Have lunch at our Cedar Café, stroll through our huge plant selection then settle in with a coffee and a good gardening book or examine the Marr Collection in our upstairs gallery, a display of everything a farm family would need at the turn of the century.

Activity: We have an Alpaca farm, about 35-42 alpacas on the farm and that depends on breeding and sales. We breed double reg. alpacas as well shear the fiber then have it turned into yarn, at a mill in NB. On the farm is a small shop where we sell the yarn as well as hand made products that are made from our animals. We also supply our yarn to shops around NB.
We also show our alpacas and have some of the finest alpacas in the area. I also have a shearing service were I shear over 1500 alpacas a year. This farm is becoming the go to farm for alpacas and information in Atlantic Canada

Farm Description: Perry Hill Farm is a modern dairy farm which has been in the family since 1870. New free stall barn facilities house a milking herd of 90 cows. The farm raises all its replacement cattle and grows all forage required by the total herd plus our other livestock including sheep, pigs, laying hens, rabbits, a horse and a pony.
Activity: Visitors are invited to participate in the Farmer Olympics and Hay Rides. Come and tour the facilities, ask questions and learn more about how farms operate and milk is produced. Enjoy a relaxing wagon ride tour of the family Christmas Tree lot. Visitors are welcome to stay and watch the cows being milked in parlor at 5:30 p.m.

Farm Description: La Fleur du Pommier is a partnership between four families and other employees (friends who grew up together for 25 years). The farm has invested heavily in its storage facilities, which allows good-quality apples until the spring after the harvest.

Farm Description: Windy Hill Farm is located in McKees Mills on 45 beautiful acres between Bouctouche and Saint-Antoine in Kent County and borders the Little Bouctouche River. This small certified organic farm raises a variety of fruits and vegetables that are marketed directly to customers through a CSA box program and at the Dieppe Farmers Market.
Activity: The farm will have guided tours of the fields and greenhouse and visits with the goats and chickens and the opportunity to buy some of our great products! Please do not bring your dogs because of the many animals that call the farm home.

Address: The farm is located about 35 minutes north of Moncton at 5054 Highway 115. From Moncton take Elmwood Drive/Highway 115 past Saint-Antoine and turn right at the sign for Bouctouche/NB-115. The farm will be on the left five km down the road. From Shediac, Cocagne or Miramichi, take Highway 11 to exit 27 and follow the signs for McKees Mills. The farm is six kilometers down the road on the right. Look for the Windy Hill Farm sign.

Description: Le Verger Goguen is a family business consisting of 33 acres with approximately 1000 fruit trees, primarily apples. The farm’s orchard offers a u-pick experience to the public. Also sold on-farm is a full range of in-season vegetables as well as special products prepared by family members or neighbours, including crafts honey etc. The orchard includes a pond where people can catch their own trout.

Farm Description: The Sunrise Farm is SPADE’s flagship farm – open to schools, organizations and individuals to use for educational, employment, production, training, research and/or recreational purposes. Home to beef and dairy cattle and egg laying chickens, the farm is owned by the Parkinson family who are long-time dairy farmers. Employment and educational programs are managed by SPADE, a provincial non-profit organization focused on providing support for persons on social assistance. SPADE is funded in part by the Province of New Brunswick and through donations from individuals and foundations. The Sunrise Farm’s bread and butter comes from the sale of milk, eggs, vegetables and bedding plants with other products being developed.
Activity: The Sunrise Farm and SPADE invite you to tour the farm, meet the animals and the folks, and get some ideas for your own agriculture-related projects.

Activity: Our wine maker will describe the process of wine making and we will be showing our packing and storage area. A brief description of general farm practices will also be given. At this time of year, we are doing U-pick and we give samples of our product and we also sell products in the retail store. Come have lots of fun in our corn field maze this year.

Farm Description: The van Oords have been farming for more than 5 years and maintain more than 100 head of Holstein cattle. Milk cows are housed in a free stall barn and milk in a parallel parlor. Replacement cattle are raised in a greenhouse barn. The farm grows its own haylage and corn. This year the van Oords have two ponds, a waterfall and a greenhouse. We have also installed a Robotic Milker.
Activity: tour the farm -Come and build a hay fort, feed calves, observe milking techniques from 1p.m. to 3 p.m., and tour the land with original graveyard. Coffee and snacks provided.

In early July we have U-Pick strawberries followed in the late summer/fall months of U-Pick corn and pumpkins. A new apple orchard was planted this spring with anticipation of a U-Pick apple orchard in four years. What a great opportunity to watch the orchard grow from its early beginning.

The poultry operation includes two barns, which raise six flocks a year, 40,000 broilers per flock.
